The MAD SERIES consists of 8 teams which play in 8 Tournaments over the course of 4 Months and teams are awarded points per tournament.
Tournaments are all single elimination.
Teams are awarded:
- 1 Point if eliminated in Quarter Final.
- 2 Points if eliminated in Semi Final.
- 3 Points if team loses in Final.
- 5 Points if team wins Final.
At the end of the 7th tournament the top 4 teams will go through to the 8th tournament – Grand Final.
Tournaments will happen every 2 weeks from Friday to Sunday
- QF1 & QF2 must be played before 12PM on Friday
- SF1 & SF2 must be played before 12PM on Saturday
- Finals must be played @8PM on Sunday
8th tournament – Grand Final winner will win the 4 x PS5 MAD Titan Controllers
In the event we do receive more than 8 registrations (Max 16 allowed) there will be a qualifying tournament which will be a double elimination tournament and the top 8 teams will go through.
